Maternity Portraits in the Erasmuspark Miracle Garden

For this maternity session, we did half of the session in my home studio and then walked five minutes to Erasmuspark to the Miracle Garden.

I have a light and airy style of photography and I love to use florals and soft fabrics in my images! Then we went outside to the garden, and even though the sun was shining full blast, we used it to our advantage!

Now their baby girl is already here and they have chosen to keep all images of their baby private, which is totally fine by me! You can read more about digital privacy and your little ones here.

More About the Miracle Garden

The Miracle Garden in Erasmuspark is one of my favorite places in Amsterdam. Not only is it so close to my apartment that I know it like the back of my hand. But it’s also so quiet and secluded that it’s perfect for families with small children. You can rest assured they won’t be overwhelmed by city noise or crowds of people staring at them.

The garden blooms with various flowers throughout the year. From fluffy white blossoms that remind me of almond trees (I’m not 100% sure what the blossoms actually are) to wisteria and tulips to hydrangeas in the summer. If you’re lucky, a few cherry blossoms bloom in the park as well!
