Experience the magic of Amsterdam’s iconic canals during a relaxed, light-filled family photoshoot. With centuries-old bridges, historic buildings, and sparkling water as your backdrop, your photo session becomes a storybook memory — whether you're visiting for the first time or making a new city feel like home.
When you work with me, you don't need to worry about a single thing. I walk you through our location options for each time of day, as well as outfit suggestions, and detailed posing during your shoot so you're never left wondering what to do.
what to expect during your canal session
-When you book a Amsterdam city session with me, you get my FREE Amsterdam Canal Prep Guide, which goes over everything you need to know about your canal session, from the best times of day to avoid traffic, to outfit suggestions based on the season.
-I also am available to style you one-on-one, you can send me photos of items you already have, or I can send you links to items in your size and budget.
-On session day, I will direct you through every shot. If you have kids, we start with the "everyone looking at the camera shot" and then we start playing games!
-1-2 weeks after your session, you will receive a professionally edited digital gallery where you can download your images.

faq about your Amsterdam Canal shoot
How much does a session cost?
Full sessions come with 50+ images, personal one-on-one styling from me, use of my Client Closet, and are €550.
I also offer Petite sessions in specific locations in the city. These are 40 minutes long, come with your choice of 10 images out of the gallery, and are €400
What do I wear for my session?
I walk you through why I suggest certain colors, textures, and fabrics in my Prep Guide I send you. I can also help style you one-on-one based on the season and your location.
How long are your sessions?
My petite sessions are 40 minutes, but my full sessions usually last 1-2 hours. I'm never watching the clock, but this is usually the amount of time it takes.
Are grandparents, large groups, or pets allowed?
Yes, yes, and yes! I don't care you you bring, if you want them in your photos, I want them there! Bring a second family and split the time and the cost, I really just want you to end up with photos you love.
What do we do if it rains? What if we are sick?
If you need to reschedule for any reason, I will offer a make-up date and will try to work with you.
Do you travel to other cities in the Netherlands?
Yes! I frequently travel to Utrecht, Haarlem, The Hague, Leiden, and more! I do charge a reasonable travel fee depending on the distance and travel time.
