I Write Your Due Date in My Calendar

As a mom of two little boys myself, I’ve had a fast birth recovery where I was up walking in the park a few days later and a slow birth recovery where I was still crying on the couch naked in a hot flash and trying to nurse a few days later. You have no idea how your recovery process will like, so instead of picking a date for your photoshoot before baby arrives, I write your due date in my calendar and make sure I keep some space open for your session. Once you see how you are recovering, then we can set a date for your newborn session! And I will never hold you to an appointment during this period, reschedules are just part of working with newborns. I actively encourage you to reschedule if the morning of our session comes and you just aren’t feeling up to the session.

The Day of Your Utrecht Newborn Session

I get asked all the time if I will go to Utrecht, and the answer is YES! I will happily come to your home in Utrecht to do your family newborn photos. When I get there, baby can be either asleep or awake, either is fine. We will keep baby close to you at all times, either in your arms or on your bed. I don’t do unnatural posing or photoshoot themes that will be out of style by next month. My photography style is timeless, natural, and in-the-moment.

We take as many breaks during the session as you need to feed, change, and settle your little one. My newborn sessions generally take 1-3 hours depending on how many outfits you want to do.

You receive the full gallery of images from your session, fully edited, and I can help you design heirloom albums and artwork for your walls afterwards.
