Ruth is the owner of Mama Ruth Lactation Consulting and was a nurse in the US for 10 years in the Neonatal ICU and High Risk Obstetrics Clinic. She also has a certification in NICU Nursing and a Masters degree in Nursing Education.
I met Ruth at a MamaSocial brunch in my first two weeks in Amsterdam and it was no nice to hear a familiar accent. We found out that we both have boys who are similar ages as well.
Life as an expat can be hard at times, but the Amsterdam mom community is here and ready to help. So many of us have small businesses that support other moms because we know how important connection is, especially in the trenches of motherhood.
