Are you visiting Amsterdam and looking for the perfect souvenir? Booking a professional photographer to take more than just iPhone pictures of your family on the Amsterdam canals is a great way to celebrate your trip without bringing home stuff you’ll probably never use. When you book with me, I capture both pulled-back images that show off the iconic Amsterdam canals and portraits that make your family the star of the show. This is your story, after all.
Cheapest Option for a Large Family Photoshoot on the Amsterdam Canals
I have never charged per-person, but a lot of photographers on tourist websites do charge per person, starting at €70-€100 each. If you have a large family like this one, you need to find a photographer that charges by group instead of by person.
I personally believe that family means the people in your life who are closest to you. If you’re a group of friends, book a family session! It’s the same amount of time and the same amount of images. I literally do not care if you are not blood related.
When you book your family photoshoot on the Amsterdam canals, we will also wander to the nearby streets, where we capture stunning and cozy images.
BYOS: Bring your own stroopwafels!
Props are so much fun to add to a session! I just did the cutest session with a two year old holding a giant (okay, so giant to him) umbrella and it was absolutely adorable and I could have died right there on the street. He was so cute!!
Stoopwafels are a great idea! If you have young kids, I’ll probably ask that we open the stroops halfway through the session, so we get some without them and before they get covered in crumbs! Melly’s Stroopwafels have the best ones in my opinion!
How will I receive my images?
You will get a digital gallery sent to your email with the option to download your images from there!
How do I book with you?
You can book your family photoshoot on the Amsterdam canals via my booking tab on my website, or you can email me directly at simsawyersphotography.com!
Other Options for Family Photoshoots besides the Amsterdam Canals?
If you live in Amsterdam or you’ve just been there, done that! I also photograph in parks around Amsterdam, in Giethoorn, at the tulip fields, and more!
